On Monday, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps confirmed in a statement that high-ranking Brig. Gen. Mohammad Ali Allahdadi was killed Sunday during an Israeli airstrike in Syria. In addition to Allahdadi, six Hezbollah members were also killed in the airstrike, including Jihad Mughniyeh, the son of a Hezbollah military strategist killed in 2008.
